A. Corporate Personhood & Citizens United

Q. Why the United States will never again be a "government of the people, by the people, for the people".

"People", meaning breathing citizens of the United States.

If corporations can contribute (bribe) to the people's representatives, then they are not the people's representatives.

Q. Why is our country in the condition it is in where people are poor and corporations are raking in record profits?

A. We elected the wrong "people".

Maybe... people will vote for representatives that have their best interests in mind.

Yet, once the bribes from Citizens United corporations hit our good representatives, I'm not sure I have faith that they will not cave like so many before them.

Dire times.
