Related: About this forumRand Paul Finds a New Home For His Plagiarism-Plagued Column
By Josh Voorhees
Sen. Rand Paul, who earlier this week lost his gig writing a weekly column for the Washington Times over revelations of plagiarism, has found a new home for his written work: Breitbart.com.
"Senator Rand Paul speaks to a new generation of conservativesones who have become the foundation of the modern Tea Party and Liberty Movement," Stephen K. Bannon, the executive chairman of the Breitbart News Network, said in statement announcing the move that unsurprisingly didn't mention Paul's recent citation troubles. "We are honored to have his voice as part of our community."
Earlier this week, the Kentucky senator sat down with the New York Times and talked about his plans to avoid future issues with attribution. "What we are going to do from here forward, if it will make people leave me the hell alone, is were going to do them like college papers," he told the paper. "Were going to try to put out footnotes. Were going to have them available. If people want to request the footnoted version, were going to have it available."
