DUers working to flip a House / Senate seat. How's it going? How can we help?

I and some of us are in relatively safe House districts. They're all up for the 2014 election, though. Where's our best shot? Same with those Senate seats up for election.

There is a great deal of excitement in Texas for Wendy. I am seeing some really good size crowds at Democratic events. Some of these crowds exceed what I saw in 2007 for Obama.

3. My brother (Austin area) is really gung ho for her. Usually pretty apolitical, but he's on board.

Those that snub their nose at the Corporate Money, well no surprise, they don't get it and they don't win. Dianne's husband is a real estate magnate in SF, buys and sells Post Offices and commercial real estate, rich as god, and I need not say the obvious. The Progressives who will accept Big Money, have a chance. Otherwise they are just outspent. This is a mostly Blue County. At least we have kept WalMart out of the County Seat. (They made a deal with Costco and Target, pretty sure.) They had to go 10 or so miles North and South to suburbs.

I'm pretty knowledgeable on a local/county level and we're north up in the Bay Area, which used to be very Liberal. It is a bit Progressive, Center Left...for the Democrats at best for the most part after the votes are counted. Not much Tea Party type influence. Republicans are mostly the same...Center Right. Even the City Councils and Board of Supervisors are always a struggle and often the majority swings one way or the other by one vote.
