RUSH LIES ABOUT OBAMA AND BILL AYERS - OR IS HE JUST BEING STUPID?

On today's show, Rush Limbaugh said that Bill Ayers has admitted on Amazon.com to being the real author of Barack Obama's book “Dreams From My Father.”

I went to Amazon's website and looked up the blurbs and reviews of Ayers' new book “Public Enemy: Confessions of an American Dissident.”:

“... Ayers reveals how he has navigated the challenges and triumphs of this public life with steadfastness and a dash of good humor—from the red carpet at the Oscars, to prison vigils and airports (where he is often detained and where he finally "confesses" that he did write Dreams from My Father) ...”

Rush apparently doesn't know that putting quotes around the word “confesses” changes the meaning, and that the blurb for Ayers' new book wasn't written by Ayers.

If Rush wasn't so stupid/lazy/dishonest he would have used the Amazon “LOOK INSIDE” feature and found the one result for “dreams from.” It's listed only on page nine, and the context clearly shows that Ayers was joking.

11. I agree. I try to save debunking posts and stories because this stuff is repeated and people believe

it. If every time someone quotes this garbage there is a return post or quote with the truth, the Rush types will go away. They do it because people will believe it. Facts are the antidote for the right wing sickness.
