A better way to spend your money on Black Friday

Instead of getting trampled to get a TV for $50 at Target or Walmart, donate to campaigns and candidates who what to raise your salary!

Follow me @MrProgress89 on Twitter for links to Democratic candidates who want to raise the minimum wage, fight for affordable healthcare, protect workers' rights, protect women's rights, and protect the environment.

Some candidates even offer shirts and bumper stickers you can keep or regift to your liberal friends and family members!

Protect yourself from trampling and your future from GOP fascism. Follow me @MrProgress89

and got my first paycheck Wednesday. There are a LOT of things I need to spend it on, but one of my first expenditures is going to be a contribution to the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee. This is the arm of the party that focuses on state legislative races--I think those races are an absolute priority for us as a party! I don't mean to minimize the national races at all, but I do see a need to focus on state houses too. If we can win some of those, we can head off some of the nasty sh*t that has been happening to us the past few years--Wisconsin, Texas, North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, Florida; future state-level disasters like those can be averted if we can flip states to the blue side. We certainly CANNOT do it if we don't invest time, sweat, and treasure in those races.
