What Christie leaves unanswered is why he showed so little interest in getting the truth earlier.

He had several months to get to the bottom of this before the election. Clearly the "traffic study" story was bogus. He had to know that. And if there is a bogus story, the question is "why?" So why the lack of curiosity, Chris?

I just do not believe that Christie did not wring the truth out of his aides.
