A serious question not meant as a back handed slam: Andrew Cuomo

Here in NYS, Cuomo's name comes up from time to time as a serious potential candidate for President. Now, regardless of what you think of his actual policies and proposals, tell me what you think his chances are in light of the fact that he and his partner are not married:

Regardless of what you think of his living arrangements, is the majority of Americans ready to let his private life be private and judge him on his public life?

I've heard his name get mentioned before, and more when I lived in NYC...but the general context was usually "God, I hope that asshole Andy Cuomo doesn't run for President."

Further, he's going to have a harder time to differentiate himself as a candidate than anybody else possibly running. I think his chances of election are nil and it's unlikely he'll run at all if Clinton is in. They're too close on policy and he's too tightly tied to both Bill and Hill to be able to establish a candidacy unless he absolutely comes out swinging on Hillary and tries to run a "she's not qualified" campaign. (That would be a folly. I hate her guts, I think she's an evil human being and would be a national disaster if elected...but even I can't argue that she's not qualified to run on her credentials. Her positions might disqualify her, but those positions are also mostly Cuomo's.)

.... and especially not when she's so very well known for closing all of her shows with cocktail recipes.
My friends and I all wonder if she's a lush.

Christie have some goods on him, too? One could hear crickets coming from the NY Governor's mansion on all of this.
