There is a fake Democrat on my ballot.

This is election time here, and in Oregon we vote by mail, so we get some time with our ballots. This morning I started marking my choices, starting with my third vote for Barack Obama who takes this precinct and district by huge percentages. Also easy to cast my vote for our great Sec of State, Kate Brown, Kate was elected in 08 as well, and she's rocking the office.
Now the spot for our House Representative in Congress has some rat fucking going on. Our sterling Democratic Rep Peter DeFazio has a 'Democratic challenger' in the form of one Matthew Robinson, who registered as a Democrat merely to fuck with DeFazio. Robinson, like many others, is willing to make false claims and push those claims all the way to the ballot. Robinson is the son of DeFazio's Republican challenger, Art Robinson. Many DUers across the nation got to see Art interviewed by Rachel Maddow in 2010, when Art had sacks of out of state mystery money to go after DeFazio. So there you go. Robinson says he is a Democrat. He is not. He's on our ballots, and while most Democrats in this district will reject his insulting campaign, some will fall for it, buy into it, and support this guy. Think about that.
Some folks will claim they are what they are not, in extreme and public ways, in order to serve their political agendas. Let none of us forget that.
