ABC's "This Week"-are you kidding me with your round-table???

They had George Will, Bay Buchanan, Greta van Susteren, Tavis Smiley, and Austan Goolsbee on their round-table. And the first question Jake Tapper asked was if Obama "spiked the football" on the 1-year anniversary of getting bin Laden. Of course, ALL of them said yes (except Goolsbee), claiming that Obama gave no credit to the Navy Seals, saying he made it all about him as if he did it himself.

Even Smiley attacked Obama for having the "nerve" to have a bust of MLK in his office yet bragging about killing bin Laden. It was a disgusting display of anti-Obama bias. Finally, Tapper had to say that he did recall Obama crediting the Seals. The others said he didn't do that nearly enough.

Did he land on an aircraft carrier?

That SHOULD be the bar for "spiking the ball."

But, when that clown did that, and was DEAD WRONG about it, these clowns were doing backflips trying to kiss his butt for how tough and great he was.

What he did was acknowledge that bin Laden is gone thanks to the great work of the Navy Seals on his order. The whole discussion about him "spiking the football" is ridiculous.

can come out and admit that's what they really think.

When Bush did it, no one in the MSM said jack shit about 'spiking the football'.

KPete nails it here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1002651214

Abso-friggin-lutely disgusting but also eminently predictable.

If Obama crushes Romney like Johnson did to Goldwater, it would provide evidence that the right wing is entirely hollow and exposed, and possibly let some changes come through similar to the 1964 - 1966 period.

Sun May 6, 2012, 07:29 PM

ie: Joel Arends of "Veterans for a Strong America"

See this article: http://thinkprogress.org/security/2012/05/06/478820/obama-swift-boat-veterans-for-a-strong-america/ (and scroll down the page a bit)

"Veterans For A Strong America is already succeeding in influencing the
political discussion. Its web ad was aired nationally, for free, on
ABC’s This Week. Many members of the political round-table then echoed
Arends talking points on Obama and Bin Laden."

I don't think this should be any surprise coming from ABC.

Don't miss this thread right here on DU about this Arends bastard - apparently ABC is just parroting whatever he and his hit piece ad says - and note in the thread below the various connections in this little web of evil propagandists: Bu$h, Rove, Koch Brothers...:

because I always thought he was a crusader especially for blacks rights and blacks in general, but what I understand, he doesn' care for Pres O at all and would do and say things that hurts Pres O. So I can see why the corporate media would invite him to discuss negativities towards the president.

ABC should be ashame of themselves but of course these RW have no morals.

I'm sick and tire of non-stop negativity towards the president, but rest assure, he's got a plan.

Its mostly coming from the mainstream. They tend to feel to show they don't have a liberal bias, but in doing so they tend to go overboard. Thats what I admire about Fox news. They are bias and don't give a damn what anybody thinks.
