He is so enormously famous and wonderfully attractive, to men and women both. He certainly has the money and lots of leftists in Hollywood would support him. I think men as well as women are fascinated by him...he is tantalizing to watch. He might have to give up his house in northern Italy, but that's not a big deal...he doesn't have a college degree but I guess with his profile he doesn't need one...

I will pay to see him read the telephone book...so I am not very objective on him...god, he's cute...

Realistically, he's not running for the Presidency straight-off. He's a long-term NYer living in CA...2 states with a total of 4 Democratic Senators none of whom I'm expecting to retire. The House is probably not a big enough office to justify retiring from the movies even temporarily. Probably not seeking a governorship without previous executive office.

So that leaves non-elected offices like Ambassador to ________ or public-spokesman jobs like the one Kal Penn had.

He can do so much more good as a private citizen. Plus the guy is finally getting married. I wouldn't blame him for wanting to settle down a little.

Clooney is a born and bred Kentuckian. He would mop the floor with Rand's poodle hair when he got through with him.
