JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon says he considers himself barely a Democrat at this point.
I would call myself a barely Democrat, at this point. I didn't support anyone last time around: I'm on the New York Fed Board; I'm not allowed to. But I am a Democrat, yes, Dimon said in an interview aired Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press.
Anti-business behavior by some Democrats has disturbed him, Dimon said.
Ive gotten disturbed at some of the Democrats anti-business behavior, the attacks on work ethic and successful people, Dimon said. 'I think its very counterproductive.
t doesn't mean I don't have their values. I want jobs. I want a more equitable society. I don't mind paying higher taxes. I do think we're our brother's keeper, he went on. "But I think that attacking that which creates all things, is not the right way to go about it.

(111,255 posts)We've always done marginally better under their administrations, most notably the Clinton administration, but it was during that administration that shifting wealth away from workers and onto the rich really picked up speed.
Saying they're no better is foolish, though.

(13,397 posts)Saying that the richest of the rich need to pay in taxes to support the country more is not an attack. It is a fact of life.
We have a country that punishes the people who work 40, 60, 80 hours a week and rewards the richest amongst us with record low taxes on capital gains and qualified dividends.
