(18,402 posts)I was unable to watch, but I've just been able to read it. I agree with you: it was an eloquent, expansive, and honest speech; one that did not avoid the thorniest issues or even self-criticism, but that at the same time held forth a clear moral outlook for humanity in a new era. It was not facile; it was not timid.
I will read it again and consider it some more later.
