I hope the SPCA will do the right thing and charge him in the end. It should have already been done.

bond, right from the start, they are true partners, or should be. There is absolutely no excuse for this - None!

A professor once made a joke about late term papers: " The only excuse is death and it had better be your own." In these types of cases where people leave their children and their pet partners in a car on a hot day, and they suffer illness or death as a result, that should be the only excuse acceptable, NO JOKE!

I am hoping the SPCA will file charges.

to put the dogs when not on actual duty, they don't belong in a car sitting in a parking lots for hours. Our local dept. keeps the dogs in a inside kennel in the securty garage which is air conditioned or heated as need be.

The dog's risk their lives to serve their human partners, this is the least that should be done for them in return.

no problem with them being angry enough to pull guns on children a kill dogs in yards, now they don't have sense to not leave a dog locked in a car but supposed to arrest people for the same thing?

He should be prosecuted for criminal negligence.

What a horrible way to die. Poor thing.
