If only we could get the fire in California (no pun intended) to spread throughout the nation.
(edited)...The only thing I don't like is that we may give the Secretary of State position to the GOP.
That's too much power, if you ask me.

(1,987 posts)unless you know something i don't know. it seems like only 14.4% of the precincts are in. For Calif. the late-reporting precincts skew more Democratic.

(1,987 posts)with roughly 26% of the vote in. With roughly 1.2% less of the vote in he was still behind. I don't think he'll relinquish this lead for the remainder of the night--most likely it will get larger.

(9,314 posts)The next time you hear someone remark that a candidate who is 58, 59, 60 is too OLD to run, point out Governor Brown. He really is just so sharp. Well, maybe we should run him in 2016 - that would really be a hoot. I would even just love seeing him in the debates. That would be tremendous.
