Governor Brown (D) won the Governor reelection in California...

and two propositions he backed in which he spoke in the advertising (1 and 2), got overwhelming wins.
If only we could get the fire in California (no pun intended) to spread throughout the nation.
(edited)...The only thing I don't like is that we may give the Secretary of State position to the GOP.
That's too much power, if you ask me.

In fact, it's largely offsetting my general discouragement about the state of our nation.

unless you know something i don't know. it seems like only 14.4% of the precincts are in. For Calif. the late-reporting precincts skew more Democratic.

with roughly 26% of the vote in. With roughly 1.2% less of the vote in he was still behind. I don't think he'll relinquish this lead for the remainder of the night--most likely it will get larger.

The next time you hear someone remark that a candidate who is 58, 59, 60 is too OLD to run, point out Governor Brown. He really is just so sharp. Well, maybe we should run him in 2016 - that would really be a hoot. I would even just love seeing him in the debates. That would be tremendous.
