Economy the # 1 issue.. Bullshit.. It’s Fear

Fear of thuggery , fear of hoards of illegals taking over the country, Fear of disease being brought to the shores..Just fear in general... This fear is driven by Big Corporate Interests and their billions spent on keeping the uninformed in fear...The lies they spewed over the airways this voting cycle are too crazy and too numerous to even begin explaining..

An example? Prop 45 went down in California last night because of the millions spent by Insurance Companies.
Lie after lie concerning how healthcare causes will rise if we allow our Insurance Commissioner to monitor all rate increases proposed by our Health Insurance Companies.. That’s Right!!! The supposedly intelligent people of California voted to simply let Insurance Companies regulate themselves.. Are you fucking kidding me,,

That was the GOP message.

Uncanny the first Ebola victim diagnosed in the us landed in Texas, was dark skinned, and died.

Liberals do not want to hear about mythological fears. MSNBC shot themselves in the foot with their fear mongering. It is why their ratings have plummeted and I will not be watching for some time.

They drone on and on about crap that is unimportant. Including Rachel.

I'm annoyed a bit with Democracy Now for turning the liberal voters against Obama democrats, by tbeir frequent adulation to Obama smearers Greenwald and Scahill.

Hope and change are uninteresting to the American people. Some even scoff at those noble ideas. Fear and more fear is what drives Americans to do as the anti-democratic 1%ers want. Plain and simple.

Prop 45 was also backed by the normally Democratic Party supporting SEIU, and they've contacted their members to vote against it. I didn't listen because I'm informed about Prop 45, and I voted YES, but how many SEIU members take the time to read up on the propositions enough to make a sound and sane decision? I'm guessing, not many.

premiums for their members while the SEIU can pocket the difference for some extra cash? I really don't know.

How is it possible that a labor union would side with For-Profit Insurance companies? OTOH, it does help explain why President Obama stopped touting the Public Option during the loooooong public health care reform debate. Unions, apparently, are not always workers' friends, and this action by the SEIU (MY SEIU, for chrissakes!) supporting Prop 45 underscores it for me.

Nancy Pelosi was against Prop 45, too, so it appears that this was a Democratic Party decision.

On the one hand, Republican pundits tell us how people don't want a governmentally controlled health care system.

But their own polling showed the idea of ObamaCare is popular, at least here in California.

So on the other hand, without any apologies for being against ObamaCare, these vultures on this side of the equation made up a total lie that passing 45 would "hurt ObamaCare."

You do understand that part of the history of the Big Unions in this country is akin to legalized racketeering, don't you?

Why did the mob manage to get its people into so many high places inside Unions across the country?

So many of the peopel I knew in the late Seventies watrched as their union would meet with management and get the older, more senior workers a slight raise, while agreeing to cut back the work force by 8% or more.

Happened again and again. The last hired were the first fired. It didn't take this happening more than once to realize that Union Management was often hand picked by the Big Industries.

But those days are over.. During that time Unions made up close to 35% of the total work force. Today what is it? about 9%? No.. there are to Mob figures tied to the Service Employees International Union. Perhaps some of their work force is planted in the Health Industries..but I doubt it..

Still trying to get an answer..but cant find one..

I am not sure if ithat is because it was a "just mid-term election" or if it is that people are sick and tired of the Big Corporate Control over Both Parties.

Here is a link to a page that shows you how few people voted in California. And this shows the number of people who are registered to vote, and then the actual vote count.

Notice how in some places only 29% came out to vote. (Placer County had a full 55% voting yesterday - thank you citizens of Placer.)
