Man, "journalist" James O'Keefe stepped in itover and over and overin his effort to expose voter fraud in North Carolina during last week's primary. There's just one fraud here, and it's clearly O'Keefe.
A brief recap: One of the voters O'Keefe accused of voting as a non-citizen in his latest exposé is actually a citizen. And the dead North Carolina voter: not dead.
And now it turns out that another "non-citizen" the video highlights, William Romero, is indeed a citizen ...
The positive news out of this is that O'Keefe's got himself into hot water in North Carolina, just as he has in New Hampshire, where a grand jury is investigating his stunt. North Carolina's state elections chief, Gary Bartlett, says his agency will "investigate whether the people in the video who tried to vote in the name of another violated state criminal law by impersonating a registered voter."

It couldn't happen to a more deserving guy who is "27 and lives with his parents in New Jersey." ...
The state Republicans really wanted to hear from him on voter fraud, in order to keep pushing their own voter suppression efforts. The state's attorney general really wants to hear from him, too, because the only real voter fraud O'Keefe can talk about is his own illegal effort to muck with the New Hampshire vote. He was all ready to tell New Hampshire Republicans all about it, until a representative of the state's attorney general's office showed up at a local conservative blogger's house, asking if O'Keefe was there.
The visit was promptly canceled, and O'Keefe gave his talk via Skype, from the safety of his parents' house.
