Obama Names Asshole Czar to Deal with McConnell

WASHINGTON -

President Obama said today that he would appoint a so-called "Asshole Czar" to deal with soon-to-be Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. The czar, who has yet to be named, is expected to coordinate White House communications with a broad array of assholes, including House Speaker John Boehner and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas). "To make the next two years as productive as possible, it's essential that I work with the Republican leadership," the President said. "I just don't want to be in the same room as those dicks."

He'd be a good choice, too. I think he'd only accept the job under the same conditions as stated in Cal33 Nov 2014 #17

though. If she did, she's going to be tough. But they also will be equally obstinate.
Likely result? Gridlock. And if Obama were to relent and tell Warren to appease them
too often, my prediction is that she would quit.

So, no. She wouldn't be offered such a job. And if offered, she'd decline -- unless
Obama promised to let her do as she wanted, and he would never interfere. This
latter is not likely to happen.

It explained much that has mystified me.
The title, alone, is a thing of wonder for an academic paper.

change yourself in the blurbs I read, and in my experience that is largely true, of assholes in various walks of life. I don't have the book, though.

Does he suggest you more or less just accept that and move on, since the odds of them changing in your lifetime are probably near zero?

Obama said he was eager to find common ground with Speaker of the House John Boehner and new Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

“I would enjoy having some Kentucky Bourbon with Mitch McConnell,” the president said. “I think we can have a productive relationship.”
