E. Warren, "Enough is enough," when Obama appointed another banker Antonio Weiss as Under Sec'y to

the Treasury. Weiss was heavily involved in helping firms to move overseas in order to avoid paying taxes.
Warren is the only one who has spoken out against the large numbers of Wall Street people appointed by
Obama into the Treasury as well as other government departments.

We need more people in government with the courage she has. We're having too many spineless showcases
in recent years. No wonder our country is falling apart.

2. I have three guesses as to why Obama continues hiring Wall Street bankers to run his government:

1. He is the appeasing type and wants to please the Republicans and win them
over. Just look at the results: They openly declared right from the beginning
that their main goal was to destroy him, bring down his government, and make
him a one-term president. And they are continuing to treat him like dirt to this
very day. So much for appeasing the Republicans.

2. He might be OBSESSED with the idea of "bipartisanship." But for bipartisanship
to work, it takes two to tango. As described, the Republicans ain't tangoing. Just
look at the 400+ filibusters of the first four years. They said "NO!" to everything the
Democrats proposed, and are still doing so today.

When an idea becomes an OBSESSION with someone, no amount of reasoning or
evidence to the contrary will change that person's mind. He's stuck, and he can't
help being stuck.

3. My last guess is that he possibly really believes the Wall Street bankers are
doing a good job in running his government.

I can't think of any other possibilities. Can you?

It has been a mystery to me and very aggravating one.
You would think after the first time he would change strategy.

5. Example: When Pelosi became Speaker of the House in Jan. 2007, one of the first things she did was

to put Impeachment of Bush, Jr. "off the table." And this after his crime of lying our nation into war against
Iraq for its oil. It was her DUTY to impeach him for a serious crime of this nature. The more gently you
treat psychopaths, the more psychopathically they will behave. They'll think that you are afraid of them.
What they do have respect for is strength and force. They fear punishment, just like anybody else.

If Bush had been impeached, many of the other Republican crimes against our nation might very well not
have happened (the Wall Street bankers robbing millions of American citizens, for instance). They would have
been afraid of the punishment. They did what they did because they expected to get away Scott free, because
they had learned that the Democratic leadership was spineless.

Republicans, on the other hand had no good reason to impeach Clinton, but they invented and provoked a
half-assed one. They are apparently trying to do the same to Obama right now.

The irony and stupidity of the situation is beyond me! The spineless Democratic Congress is just begging to be
kicked in the ARSE again. You may add the corruption, but the spinelessness is definitely there. And these are
the ones in control. We need people like Warren, Sanders, Grayson.... to take over control.

7. I also read that Weiss will most likely not appear before the Senate until next year, and

that the White House is sticking by his nomination, despite the petitions of large numbers
of Democrats to have a non-Wall Streeter nominated for this job. Well, the Republicans
will control the Senate in January. So, we will have another Wall Streeter in the Treasury
Dep't.

Can't help but notice that Pres. Obama can be tough on his own fellow-Democrats, but
gives in more often than not to the Republicans. How come?
