I truly believe we have a solid, sure bet 211 electoral votes

I think the minimum that Obama will get come November is 208 electoral votes. This is based on

California - 55
Washington - 12
Oregon - 7
Hawaii - 4
Illinois - 20
Michigan - 16
Minnesota - 10
Maryland - 10
Delaware - 3
New York - 29
Massachusetts - 11
Vermont - 3
Connecticut - 7
Rhode Island - 4
DC - 3

I know there is alot of swing states but somehow we need to come up with 59 votes.

I also believe that the minimum that Romeny is going to win is 170 electoral votes based on alot of small EV states and of course Texas.

So that leaves us trying to find 59 votes in the following states: Florida, Pennyslvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, Virginia, North Carolina, Indiana, Maine, New Hampshire, Iowa, Missouri, Colorado, New Mexico and Nevada.

I think we can do this!

But I too believe it doesn't look likely Mittens will be able to pull it off. Still, we need to fight like Hell!

Everything has to break "just right" for Romney to win in November and, frankly, President Obama has a much better organized "boots on the ground" effort and is capable of generating more enthusiasm in general than R.Money (hey, how's YOUR crowd sizes, hmmm? ). However, we need to avoid thinking it's over and done with yet. The Republicans will be unloading a mighty arsenal of negative campaigning and using virtually limitless funds against President Obama and using whatever other tricks they can to keep otherwise eligible voters from the polls. IMHO we need to work like everything is up for grabs because it very well might be. Remember, polls are meaningless if people don't actually show up at the voting booth and cast a vote.
