Though I doubt it, TBH. A lot of people know about his associations with racists these days, and many left-leaning people who had indeed once admired him have flocked away from him. Had he run in '08 he might have had a chance to score on both sides of the political divide. Nowadays, though, the only people who are still going to vote for him would be disaffected moderate conservatives who can't stand the GOP, or those ultra-cons who think the Repubs aren't right-wing enough.

We need to focus on the polling within individual states (especially the battleground ones). Winning the national popular vote doesn't mean a thing (just ask Al Gore).
