I think Obama will win...

This isn't a complacency post, just how I feel. I do believe he will win and when he does, it will be the sweetest victory I've ever experienced - even better than '08 because I think it will confirm just how out of touch the Republicans are.

Maybe I'm wrong. But I don't think so. One thing I do know is that I wish November would get here already.

And it will be a sweet victory indeed.

Perhaps it's just a family thing - this positive attitude, and the unbridled will to make it happen.

And, as of today I think you are right, but it is early, the conventions haven't occurred and a lot can happen before November, good or bad.

But, keeping the White House without making gains in the House (majority) and Senate (super majority) the results may be the same, gridlock. The mandate you are hoping for would only come with a complete sweep.

I am not following the primaries extremely close, but I think some of the open seats and a few contested seats held by the few moderate Republicans left are going to Teabaggers. This may be good or bad. Good if it give the edge to the Dems, bad if it increases the Tea Party in Congress.

The Teaparty will completely take over the Republican Party and force them to put up a Santorum or Bachmann in 2016. The far right wing and evangelicals are very unhappy with Romney as the candidate.
