Senate Lets NSA Spying Expire

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) succeeded Sunday in forcing certain controversial provisions of the Patriot Act to expire, including the NSA’s sweeping data collection program. But the lapse isn’t likely to last long.

Do the names Ron Wyden of Oregon and Martin Heinrich of New Mexico, Sen. Mark Udall of Colorado mean anything to you? They are DEMS who have been really fighting this and more of the Patriot Act for years, but the so called "liberal" media (now that's a joke) including this site, give them little to no attention. Rand only knows how to get attention for himself. Note he never mentions them when he speaks on this issue. Oh and the only Senator who voted against the Patriot Act is running again for the Senate, Russ Feingold a Dem vote for him if you can . By the way Rand is fine with corporations collecting, holding and doing what ever they want with your data , including giving it to the government if they ask nicely, ha. This is all a show on his part, smoke and mirrors. Is this what you want in a leader the basic bait and switch con-game?
