Is Trump's revival of the 'birther' meme to get the furthest right wing nutters to be sure

to get out and vote. How could you be anything but irate if someone steals the presidency? (sarcasm). Anger gets you to take action. Anger will get them up and out on election day. I'm sure Trump will be available to reignite the issue periodically in the months to come so the nutters won't get sad and passively dissapointed when Mitt tacks to the centre in the months to come.

I really think Romney has the racist vote locked up.

Trump likes to have cameras and microphones around himself and talking about the birth cert is the only thing that does that right now.

this is just Trump being the half witted camera whore he is.

Politically, Romney has to know it does him no good rubbing elbows with Trump.

BUT, money is king in big time politics, and you have to know that the Romney camp did some cost/benefit analysis and there is enough money from this relationship to take take the PR hit.

I keep saying, Romney has now accumulated so many self inflicted wounds that it no longer matters. The corporatist media just shrugs it off - "bah, just Romney being Romney. Now, Obama has REAL problems with (insert whatever contrived nonsense right wing radio is pushing at any given moment)."

lose him votes with moderates. The fundies and racists already aren't voting for Obama, but even with Trump spouting birther memes, I'm not convinced they'll vote for him either. Of course the only thing I'm going by is the only racist Fundie I know, I work with and there is no-way, no-how (as he phrased it with a few off color words injected) was he going to vote for Romney. He's just not voting.

Donald Trump has reignited the birthed argument n order to get attention. How much media attention had Trump been getting in the previous months? Now for some reason he is getting on just about every news show. Te birthed issue from beginning to end has been about attention.
