Developing a thicker skin..

The first thing a person who is passionate about the message of any candidate has to do.. The sh*t storm is just starting to form in the the republican think tanks.. and everyone.. I mean everyone who is an announced candidate for the Democratic party is squarely in the cross hairs..

No one has a pristine past that any person can cling too.. they just don't.. all of them have wobbled on serious issues that are near and dear to the hearts of the base...

Now there will be drawing of blood by Democrats also because these are people who are running for office..

Just like the President and Secretary Clinton did in 2008.. there will be bumping of heads and bruising of egos..

But it is just that.. and they get past it and get to work when the election is decided.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
