Look at this ugly, ugly trend

1. probably the economy

or maybe the GOP is running a lot of ads.

2. Lots of right-wing money being dumped on Wisconsin TV re. the recall campaign.

Lots of Obama-bashing on the TV accompanied those pro-Walker ads.

Or so I would guess.

3. Look at the individual polls, not the trend-line.

If you look closely, you'll see the trend line is being artificially dragged down by one outlier Rasmussen poll which had Romney leading by 3.

That said... yeah, Wisconsin will be closer than most of the other blue states, I'm sure, but it always tends to be that way. It's just the demographics.
