Enough with the Hillary email "scandal"!!!

Let me spell it out.

Hillary was Secretary of State.

While there she used private email on a secure server.

Then she was no longer there.

Republican saw she was using private email and decided to make the use of private email a crime AFTER SHE NO LONGER WORKED THERE.

They took something that was not a crime, made it a crime, and are now trying to claim she broke a law that didn't exist at the time she was there and call her a criminal. At the very LEAST make it sound like she was doing something nefarious.

Ask yourself if the "Transparency Loving" GOP would have bothered to make a non-crime a crime if Hillary wasn't involved. Especially after Colin Powell did the same thing. (But then, he was covering up WMD claims and oil deals made for the Coalition of the Billing.)

Some of you might even believe that there was nothing wrong with what she did.

But having official State Department communications run through a private email account creates all sorts of problems and should never have been allowed.

My question is: why would the Obama Administration allow this to happen? I'd say it's a bigger blunder on his part to allow it, than on Hillary to do it.

She had a secure server in her home guarded by the Secret Service, and apparently better protected than the State Department's.

Brian Fallon has been great tackling the nonsense around this story and pointing to good info.

Bill and Hillary were there for Richard Mellon Scaife's Funeral where Bill gave the Eulogy, FFS!

So...they hang out with those who trashed them the whole of Clinton's Presidency...and we are not supposed to ask about Hillary's E-Mails that her lawyer went through and made the judgement about which to turn over and which to Delete?

I won't go into Poppy Bush calling Bill Clinton his Other Son. Or, maybe it was Bab's Bush who said that.

Anyway the Clinton's are Friendly with those who helped trash them and when one "lies down with fleas...one Wakes Up With Them."

Hillary's Candidacy needs to be thoroughly scrutinized. And, Bill will be the "First Man" and we need to know what role he will play in a Hillary Presidency.

Lots of questions that need to be answered before I vote for her.

Obama's directive was clear - everyone was to use .gov email for government business. The WH staff all knew this and followed it. Hillary decided to ignore the President's directive and set-up a private server and didn't notify Obama. The WH was not aware of this until the whole mess unraveled.

Hillary and her supporters have this tendency to blame everyone else but Hillary for her mistakes. Obama didn't make her do this and Obama shouldn't have to micromange his SoS to make sure she is following his directives.

Hillary has boldly told us that
China is hacking EVERYTHING!
E V E R Y T H I N G!!!!!

So, it's safe to assume that includes
her personal, poorly encrypted, email server.

“They’re trying to hack into everything that doesn’t move in America — stealing commercial secrets, blueprints from defense contractors, stealing huge amounts of government information — all looking for an advantage,” she said. “Make no mistake: they know they’re in a competition, and they’re going to do everything they can to win it.”

Clinton’s remarks come three months after the U.S. government learned of a “massive breach” of federal databases that compromised the personal records of millions of federal employees. State officials believe the hackers were operating out of China, an allegation Beijing has called “irresponsible and unscientific.” A year ago, the New York Times reported that U.S. security agencies traced a similar incident last March to China, though it remains unclear if those hackers were state mercenaries or acting alone.

Whether it was secure or not has not been answered but really is irrelevant to the bigger point that she knew she was defying State Dept protocol because she chastised someone in her department for doing the same, using private email for State business (at least the guy did not have his own server at home).

What some are either oblivious to or are ignoring is the provocative behavior she exhibited while at State doing things from using her own server at home for State business to selling arms to dicey countries that had contributed huge amounts to the Foundation, etc., thereby inviting the push-back and calls for scrutiny. Declaring it was not illegal is missing the point by a mile and a half and setting a really low bar.

She was obligated to refrain doing these things that cause the appearance of wrongdoing, and did not. Just like her husband couldn't control himself in the WH. Their indulgent behavior causes negative blowback for the Democratic Party, and that is unfair to the party as a whole.

This is the continuing saga of the Bill and Hillary Show and it never, ever ends. Why anyone would want that mess back in the White House is a mystery to many here.

Why would any politician at the highest reaches of political power choose to go out of their way to mix SoS of the USA business with personal crap about family and friends etc., except to provide an after the fact excuse for unaccounted for and entirely private deletions and falsifications of the record?

Maybe Hillary chose to face this "scandal" of her own free will, because she has something to hide about what she did on the job.

Or again, Maybe she speaks truth and she set up a private email server in her basement, so she could mix highest state-level gov't business with random personal crap, because she was too dim to know how to do it properly, the way every honest person does.

use to attack her? Anything and everything she does, no matter how awesome or benign is twisted and used against her. She should live her life based on what the republicans will attempt to use against her? She did nothing differently than past SOS and that most everyone in the state department did.

Unfortunately, she counted on us--including YOU-- to weed through the bullshit rather than use it against her in an attempt to lift your democratic candidate.
