Related: About this forumNot first disruptive tactic for activist who shut down the Bernie Sanders speech
Six months before two Black Lives Matter activists shouted presidential candidate Bernie Sanders off the stage Saturday at Westlake Park, one of them walked to the front of the room at a contentious Metropolitan King County Council meeting on a new juvenile-justice center and confronted the politicians.
You guys are a bunch of fascists, said Marissa Johnson, pointing her finger at the council members.
Saying she wanted to make them as uncomfortable as they had made her, she then led members of the audience behind her in chants of Hands Up: Dont Shoot and Black Lives Matter, both growing mantras in the national movement protesting police shootings of unarmed black men.

Nobody got shot or trampled or hurt other than feelings. I sort of feel bad for the elderly and disabled who probably went to some uncomfortable lengths to be there to hear what Bernie had to say to them how he would try to help their present conditions and were denied that. I was talking about the first disruption for the Social Security and Medicare appearance that he did in Seattle that everyone is upset about.
