1. Ezra Klein did a hilarious segment on these
Venn diagrams when he was subbing for Maddow last night.

3. Just more elitist factually-correct snobbery from the liberal diagram police!
![]() Rmoney's choice in staff should be all the evidence anyone needs that he's unfit for office. |

7. I agree but I can't think of a candidate who has EVER had so many problems
and still be a contender. But, then again I don't think I have ever seen a candidate have so many problems.
Does he think he is still a C.E.O. and can just tell people to vote for him? ![]() |

18. Well
He and Ann both said that it's "his turn", Romney made an offhand suggestion about people making the right choice for their jobs, and Ann wants people to "obey", so yeah, he probably does think so.

10. Surely Romney is not THAT stupid. Oh, that's hilarious! I could hardly stop laughing.
Such a simple concept.
I mean, we all make mistakes, but . . . . . mistakes that obvious? Maybe one of his grandkids made the diagram? Or maybe one of his dogs? Or that sick horse? |

12. To be fair, a lot of people don't understand Venn diagrams.
Just like they don't understand "If a, then b" does not mean "if b, than a." Many people are logically illiterate.

14. To be fair, that is very unfair. It was obviously a tongue in cheek statement.
Bit of an overreaction best kept to yourself. It is not even Monday, so why so grouchy?

15. Let's look at the words
Fair"
Of pleasing appearance, especially because of a pure or fresh quality; comely. Free of clouds or storms; clear and sunny: fair skies. 4. Free of blemishes or stains; clean and pure: one's fair name. 5. Promising; likely: We're in a fair way to succeed. 6. a. Having or exhibiting a disposition that is free of favoritism or bias; impartial: a fair mediator. b. Just to all parties; equitable: a compromise that is fair to both factions. 7. Being in accordance with relative merit or significance: She wanted to receive her fair share of the proceeds. The saying is crap, I don't use it anymore, its sounds like something Fox would say, while destroying climate change. No offense, just don't use it without thinking on what the words mean. Its like 'all things being equal'....... is a shit statement. added on edit. |

16. Sorry, no, let US not. Knock yourself out, though.
I will use it when I feel led to use it. Thanks. It is a kind of idiom. Idioms don't literally translate. Feel free to try though. Just don't insist that others agree with you. Because it makes you look like a controlling person, which I trust is not something you want.

17. Well, I wasn't attacking you
I've just dealt with that shit statement over the years
everything else you said was right on. All things being equal only happen in Math to be fair.....LOL Sorry, I should have been more gentle, just dealt with that term with right wingers on another site.... ![]() |
