Get over it!

Bernie is over it. I really wish his supporters would move on.

4. Some of us have.

A lot of us would say that, if those women had just asked the organizers(who weren't Bernie's people, btw) to let them lead the 4 1/2 minutes of silence for Michael Brown, they'd have been fine with it. We all believe that black lives matter, and we were already on the same side, even if we weren't always as effective on that as we might have been.

But we're past that now, and hopefully the needed unity can be built.

I support BLM and Bernie.

Some felt they had to choose between them.

7. Just keeping it 100, you could have said that there was one planned and 'advertized disruption' ...

for a candidate's event and there was another unadvertised disruption at an event where a candidate was invited to speak.

Keep it 100.

Both sides have to get over this NOW!

We need to be united, even if we support different candidates.

We all need to be fighting for the right things, like racial justice and economic equality. If we continue to keep this rift going, we will get further and further apart, and we are already at the point where we can't talk to each other.

I understand that Hillary supporters feel like they have the short end of the stick, because they are in the minority here. But that doesn't mean everyone hates them and wants them shut up or banned.

I've never alerted on anyone and never will, and this alert stuff has to quit too. Good people are leaving and being banned and it shouldn't be going down like this.

I'm not that well known here. I've been reading since 2001, but have only recently gotten involved in the conversations, but I've always thought of DU as a place to come and get perspective, information, and comradeship.

Now I"m feeling like this place is more negative than positive...like maybe it just needs to be shut down for a month to cool people off. But that shouldn't be necessary. We are all adults, if we'd just act like it. Emotions run high and people say things they regret later...but that's not what is happening here. There is a very deep and wide chasm forming and it's causing a lot of damage. Maybe permanent damage within the democratic party.

Please people, try to stop before you hit post and think about what you have written and how it might affect others.

We can win if we stick together (and that does not mean party loyalty). We can all fight for the same causes and win...even with some differences.

We just need to stop this infighting. It's making me sick at heart. It think it's making a lot of people sick at heart.

There is a very real problem with the concerns of the AA community not being taken seriously by other progressives, and it needs to be addressed.

Not BLM.

The whole Bernie vs Hillary thing is petty when you think of cops getting away with murder.

It's not just that cops are murdering black people it's the whole system with the police union, the supervisors, the DA's office and the kangaroo courts giving it a green light.
