The presumptive GOP nominee left his lakeside New Hampshire manse, where he had spent the July 4th week, to troll the beachfront enclaves of the absurdly rich.
One of the first stops was a cash soirée at Revlon chairman Ronald Perelmans 40-room castle, The Creeks. A $25,000 check to Romneys bid to oust President Obama gained one entry to a VIP photo-op, with a lunch afterward for $5,000 a head, or a discount of $7,500 per couple.

(326 posts)now that I try to go organic whenever possible - too much crap in their products plus while their is a carefully worded statement on their site about being cruelty free, I'm far from convinced, particularly since they refuse to sign onto the Leaping Bunny list as being certified cruelty free. This is just another reason not to use their products, and they make ALOT! In the same vein I found it interesting that one person commenting on this weekend's Hampton events refused to be identified because "it would hurt business" . . . if he knows that is how consumers feel wouldn't it be prudent financially to go the other way? Just sayin'.

(12,233 posts)It's overpriced "CoverGirl" or "Mabeline". I barely wear makeup at all... FL is hot and make-up runs easily here. I normally try to find a tinted face lotion for winter months and just regular for summer... That's if I bother.

(3,769 posts)but I always buy EL when they have their bonus thingy a few times a year. I score several hundred dollars worth of makeup for around $50-60. Then it lasts a year or more. I'm still working my way through the free stuff I got at Christmastime last year.
Their eye shadows lasts and lasts in the case and on my face! I am SO over buying Revlon at Walgreen's. Neither of those companies have my best interest at heart.
Congrats on the 20K posts, wow, that's a bunch.
