Will age play a role in the primary?

I don't think it will directly, personally, but it may play a strong indirect role.

O'Malley is 52, Clinton 67, and Sanders 73. My own guess is that that age difference will tell in the primary campaign.

O'Malley's energy on the campaign trail has been amazing so far. I personally think he's going to be able to keep up a much more punishing campaign schedule than Clinton or Sanders.

traveling from state to state, not by limo, sometimes by train. I don't know how he does it.

No, age will not be a factor to people who care enough about this country to actually go out and vote.

Many non voters are going to be signing up as Dems just so they can vote for Bernie. They know how old he is and many of them are saying, they like that he is 'older and wiser' as a leader. Not to mention they can look at his long record. Same goes for Hillary,
