For those who insist that Clinton (or Biden or other mainstream Dems) is a genuine progressive and not just another neoliberal, how telling is it that a Clinton-Sanders ticket wouldn't happen? It would only serve to highlight the fact that Democrat and progressive are not synonymous and haven't been for a long, long time.

just for shits and giggles, I think he would need someone to balance out the ticket.

First choice: A woman, not a senator (because we really don't want to lose anyone else out of the Senate in 2009 we lost multiple Senators due to the Pres/VP/SOS all being from that one body), military experience would be a plus, would have to be younger than Sanders (because two older candidates wouldn't fly),

Second choice: A Latino, not a senator (see above), military experience a plus, and younger

I don't see Webb as a contender for VP even if it were Clinton that won the nomination. He is way too far right. Dean has been out of politics for too long. As much as I love Robert Reich, I don't think he'd do it.
