Latest Polling - Sanders doing as well as Bush + Walker + Rubio
Here is a link.
This poll is not an anomaly. In other recent polling, Sanders is doing as well as Trump + Cruz. On what planet does the Democratic Party need someone other than Sanders to offer a viable alternative to Clinton? I love Biden, but the position he is inquiring about has already been filled.

3. As a separate matter, Sanders is the only major candidate for either party without skyrocketing
disapproval numbers (I'm not a Clinton naysayer because her disapproval numbers are due to 17 Republicans and the whole right-wing media attacking her daily, and if Biden gets in he'll suffer the exact same nose dive but worse) and it is noteworthy how Sanders alone is immune from this downward spiral.

4. Sanders would not be immune if he was the front runner
The GOP can find the smallest things and make them out to be scandals. As well, Sanders is not Hillary Clinton who has been faced with more manufactured scandals in 20 years then anyone on the planet.

5. Maybe not, but there is less ammunition available to attack Sanders than there is to attack Biden. I
agree that the dip in Clinton's polling is due in large measure to her front-runner status, and I think Biden would take a hit equal or greater then Clinton's but he lacks either Sanders' grassroots or Clinton's groundwork. Biden is a non-starter.
