If you read just one story about O'Malley's approach to leadership, check this out:

Nothing to do with politics, no expectation of political returns or gain, just a Governor using his State's resources effectively to aid those in need. Quite a contrast to the inept bumbling administrations of Bush and Jindal.

It must be terribly frustrating that he doesn't get a lot of traction.

I'm going to give him a closer look.

And, btw, this post is just one reason why I wait to pick a candidate.

There is soooo much to learn before the primary.

The feds told them to hold off. My guess is that, for Bush, bringing in such outside aid would have made it clear that, on his watch FEMA (headed by the former horse trainer) was messing up big-time. Preserving Bush's image was more important than saving people's lives.
