(2,707 posts)because next year it'll be easier for him to tout how much better off we all are under him than Bush-like Republicans.

(2,707 posts)because if he did run and did what Nader did in 2000, Hillary wouldn't be able to govern. We all see how badly the Perot-spoiler myth hurt Clinton's presidency. If Hillary will win anyway, then so be it. Also, I think as Obama's approvals climb back, seeing how good he and his team engineer that, Hillary will win easily anyway.

(631 posts)All GOPers are within the margin of error of beating Dems, including unknown GOPers against well- known Dems. We need to get Dems in the news.
Is this because GOPers have started their debate season, and Dems have not? We need as many debates as the Republicans to make our positions known. The public doesn't care about the media but they do like contests and competitions.

(2,707 posts)middling as in being from 45-50 in most polls (those numbers are tossup, hence Bush in 2004 and Obama 2012, as well as Ford/Carter 1976); that is very different tho from sub-40, where the Dems would all be fucked, or above 50, where they'd be safe.

(12,958 posts)He is doing phenomenally well. Once the debates begin, they won't be able to pretend he doesn't exist anymore. I can't wait!

(2,101 posts)HRC beats most all GOP-pers. Sanders is just shy and within the MoE.
Trump And Carson are the GOP leaders and both imo are unelectable.
Carson at 44% ... REALLY!? That's scary.
Politicalboi
(15,189 posts)Bernie just needs to stay in the race. The more people find out about Bernie, he'll get their vote.
Still voting for whoever is the Dem candidate at the end of the day. Be it Hillary or Bernie, or Joe or Martin.

(850 posts)1) Bernie has anywhere near the name recognition that Hillary has
2) The MSM stops deeming Hillary as inevitable
3) The MSM stops only covering Clinton/Trump policies and campaign events live
4) The MSM doesn't question Bernie every single time in the frame of Clinton/Trump
ericson00
(2,707 posts)which is the truth.

What's she at now? 20 points ahead? You keep telling yourself she is inevitable.

How many elections must we go through before we learn not to pay attention to ANY poll until these things that I've mentioned have happened?
