2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumThe TPP will not be finalized by the time the first debate finally rolls around
Keystone decision could come before it- and if it does, the timing sure will be interesting. Undoubtedly, both will be brought up, bringing into play the interesting situation of seeing O'Malley and Sanders in strong opposition, leaving Hillary in an awkward place. It'll be interesting to see what other subjects are brought up, but those two are pretty compelling.

but i can't speak against a policy i helped to develop
bottom line if you're not or you do not feel free to speak your mind on the relevant issues, then you don't belong in the race

(3,655 posts)He did so almost immediately, accusing Mrs. Clinton of changing positions whenever its politically convenient, pointing to the North American Free Trade Agreement, torture and the war on Iraq. Now, that may be politically savvy, but I dont think that it offers the clear contrast that we need, Mr. Obama said. I think what we need right now is honestly with the American people about where we would take the country.
Edwards weighs in:
Senator Clinton says that she believes she can be the candidate for change, but she defends a broken system thats corrupt in Washington, D.C., Mr. Edwards said.
on licenses for undocumented immigrants:
She was challenged on what she said first by Senator Christopher Dodd of Connecticut and then by Mr. Edwards. Unless I missed something, Senator Clinton said two different things in the course of about two minutes just a few minutes ago, and I think this is a real issue for the country, Mr. Edwards said.

Isn't it funny how some forget what happened last time around? Obama attacking Hillary for flip flopping on trade agreements. Hillary taking both sides of the license issue.
And they wonder why Americans want something different.
