Related: About this forumLOL- Jorge Ramos Asks "Hillary or Trump" On Facebook... And Everyone Says "BERNIE"
So Jorge Ramos shared a post on his Facebook page: "Are Latinos standing by Hillary, or just running from Trump?"
And what was the response? Neither. They all say "Bernie"..

There's a bunch more - but that's just a sampling.

To that I answer, look at the young people, look at Facebook and Twitter and Reddit. They are for Bernie.
I'm working on it. Bernie is the best liked. We just have to let people know that because he is so well liked, he can win and will win.
I'm shocked that people don't think for themselves and are so moved by what other people think they should think -- and at my age.
And we love our immigrants in California. They make us the metropolitan state that we are. They provide our diversity, our culture, our joie de vivre, our joy in life.

(11,836 posts)since most states count the votes in a secretive manner i think it is natural not to trust that count
we could count ourselves in our own precincts...that would be a start

(1,455 posts)and I can tell you that at least in NYS, the votes ARE counted at the precinct level. The ballots, after counting, go to the county seat where they are stored.

(11,836 posts)WI Paper Ballot Scanners Failed to Count 1000s of Votes in 'Citizens United' Ballot Referendum
Popular, oft-malfunctioning computer tabulator used in WI, many other states, tallied just 16 votes out of 5,350 cast in Stoughton, WI...
UPDATED: Hand-count finds 4,440 YES votes, 992 NO votes...
////////////////
that is just one example of hundreds of stories of inaccurate results by optical scanners

(1,455 posts)The readers are all tested before the polls open and again after they close. Ballots are often randomly hand-counted to verify. Besides which, if there is a question, that's why it is paper ballots and they can be hand-counted. There has been nothing in NYS anywhere near to what you are sharing here.
questionseverything
(11,836 posts)New paper ballot optical-scan computer tabulator systems used to tally millions of votes in New York --- as well as "swing states" such as Florida, Ohio and Wisconsin --- do not tally votes correctly. That stunning admission comes courtesy of a new report released by the private company which manufactures, sells, services and programs the systems which are now believed to have mistallied tens of thousands of ballots in New York in 2010.
The votes of more than ten million voters could be affected by a newly revealed failure in the voting systems set for use in those four states in this year's Presidential election, and in more than 50 different jurisdictions in Wisconsin during next month's historic recall elections.
Election Systems & Software, Inc. (ES&S), the largest e-voting machine company in the U.S. and the maker of the paper ballot op-scan tally systems in question, have confirmed that their systems may overheat when used over several hours (for example, during an election!), and that they then may mistally and/or incorrectly discard anywhere from 30% to 70% of votes scanned by the machines
http://bradblog.com/?p=9903
In late 2010, the state court ordered that a manual "recount" of paper ballots had to be stopped and that unverified computer tallies were to be used as "official" in a New York state Senate race where just 451 votes, out of some 84,000 ballots cast, separated the two top candidates. The election would result in Republicans gaining the majority in that body that year.
Last year, after a public records request, the New York Daily News discovered that during the 2010 statewide September primary elections, some op-scan systems in the South Bronx experienced a failure rate of 70%. In the November general election that year, the failure rate was found to be 54%. Thousands of valid votes went uncounted entirely.
When the new op-scan systems rolled out in New York City itself in 2010, long lines, "reports of broken and missing scanners," and computer "system errors" resulted in what Mayor Bloomberg at the time described as a "royal mess."

(57,936 posts)We could have a site where each person has an ID and a password and can only check in once and only if they know their password. We could invite all Bernie supporters to be sure and check in. Sort of our own vote-counting system.
Of course, we might miss some voters, but maybe we could find a way so that anyone could call in from a phone and register HOW THEY VOTED -- PAST TENSE.

And it appears to be happening.
And it's still so early in the season.
Sure they will try to undermine him, but we know those tactics and we despise them.
See what happened to poor Brock when he tried, look at how people rallied around Bernie and donated over one million dollars to his campaign in small donations, in ONE DAY. Act Blue said they never saw anything like it before!

(25,699 posts)1) Go to a webpage
2) Hit "print screen" on your keyboard
3) Open photoshop
4) Go to File -> New (Ctrl+N)
5) Hit "okay" on the little window that pops up
6) Go to Edit -> Paste (Ctrl+V)
The entirety of your screen is now captured as an image document in photoshop! generally it will be 66.7% of its actual size, you can see it full-size by going to View -> Actual pixels (Alt+Ctrl+0)
Now, in your little action bar to the left (or wherever you have it) there's an icon that looks like two right angles intersecting each other. This is the crop tool. it can also be selected via C on your keyboard.
Now, click on a corner of whatever space you want to use as an image, and drag until the crop window encompasses the whole whole of your selection. Now, at the top of your screen are two other icons. One is a crossed-out circle, the other is a check mark. If you selected poorly, hit the circle to cancel. if you've got what you want, hit the check. If you confirm, everything beyond the bounds of your selection will be removed.
Now, you go to File - > Save As (Shift+Ctrl+S), and save as your choice of jpg, png, or even bmp!
You may now upload the screenshot image to a host website of your choice, and post here through the usual means!
Congratulations, you now have the knowledge needed to make screenshot images! Tune in next week for how to make your very own lolcat images!
