Rapper T.I. makes sexist comments about Hillary Clinton, then backtracks

Hours after popular rapper T.I. said Hillary Clinton couldn't be president because women make emotionally-charged, rash decisions, the artist backtracked on his emotionally-charged, rash comment.

The "Whatever You Like" artist said he wouldn't be voting for Clinton to be in the White House because "I just know that women make rash decisions, emotionally ... they make very permanent, cemented decisions," according to Rolling Stone.

He made the comment during an interview Tuesday on the SiriusXM radio show, "The Whoolywood Shuffle."

Hours after the interview, T.I. completely changed his mind about how he sees women in power. It was not immediately known what convinced him that the opposite sex can make tough decisions, but he took to Twitter to show he was changed man.

"Not to be sexist, but I can't vote for the leader of the free world to be a woman," the rapper said. "Just because, every other position that exists, I think a woman could do well. But, the president? It's kinda like, I just know that women make rash decisions emotionally – they make very permanent, cemented decisions — and then later, it's kind of like it didn't happen, or they didn't mean for it to happen."

After expressing concern over whether foreign leaders would take a female president seriously during policy negotiations — despite Clinton doing just that as secretary of state — T.I. tried to qualify his remarks, adding: "The world ain't ready yet. I think you might be able to get the Loch Ness Monster elected before [a woman]. It's not right, but I'm just saying."
