Isn't it amazing how much Sanders has accomplished?

While I hope he wins the nomination, consider what he's already accomplished just as a candidate:

-- Has the Democratic Party uniting in opposition to the TPP
-- Has the Democratic Party uniting with demands for stronger corporate regulation
-- Has the Democratic Party uniting in opposition to the Keystone pipeline
-- Has the Democratic Party making the issue of climate change a central issue
-- Has the Democratic Party speaking boldly about issues of race and discrimination
-- Has the Democratic Party moving towards confronting the ridiculously high cost of college
-- Has the Democratic Party moving towards progressive reform of Social Security, not cuts
-- Has brought Democratic Socialism into the mainstream for perhaps the first time in 100 years
-- Has brought hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of young people into progressive politics

I'm sure there are more things, but Bernie Sanders has actually done something not even Obama could do -- he has moved the entire Party to the left.

Awesome!

10. Here on DU, but not in the Democratic Party in general.

I still don't believe that Hillary is really on board with regard to the TPP, the Keystone Pipeline and Social Security among other things.

And she specifically said she would not provide free tuition to state colleges and universities for rich kids. In making that statement, she misses the point that Bernie made which is that college or at least a trade school degree is today's high school diploma. It is a starting point.

Without it, people are not prepared for the job market or life in general.

So it should be free for everyone. Besides, we do not need all the forms and bureaucracy involved in providing student aid, etc.

Hillary wants students to work. Find. But they should work for room and board, not for the overpriced tuition that is the rule today.

By the way, Hillary said she wanted to see students work while in school.

My children did as did I and as did my husband.

I wonder whether Chelsea worked while in college and if so, what kind of job she had.

I babysat, waited tables and worked in the bookstore. And I learned a lot doing those jobs.

I wonder what Chelsea did, what kinds of jobs she did while in college.

4. He also raised the bar on and set the tone against negative campaigning.

That debate may have had a slightly different tone (and no, I'm saying it would have been as bad as the Republicans - they are just ridiculous). He has stayed on point, talking about his issues instead of tearing down his opponents. How refreshing.

8. Yes, but positions can easily be reversed once elected, nothing is set in stone, so it is best ...

to support those who will not change their positions too quickly.

Otherwise we could be looking at 'here today, gone tomorrow.'

9. Hillary's opposition to the TPP is qualified. And qualified merely on the addition of wage

provisions she wants. The big problems are the copyright and patent terms that the TPP MAY (we haven't seen its full text yet) bring and the TPP arbitration courts that allow corporations to sue countries and other government entities for the loss of speculative profits.

Also, hard to say where Hillary really stands on the Keystone pipeline. I do not trust her on tthat.

Hillary wants to means-test free tuition for college. Bernie to the contrary recognizes that today, a college degree is the equivalent in terms of getting a job of a high school degree a generation ago.

Hillary is weak on Social Security. Said she does not want to raise taxes -- not specifically about Social Security. I do not trust Hillary on Social Security.

I do not trust Hillary on any of these issues. She is really just saying things to get elected, not because she will really carry through on what she is saying.

I do not trust Hillary. Not at all.
