(24,412 posts)Apparently, the CBO doesn't agree with them- which, of course, means that they're "partisan".

(14,564 posts)CBO correctly pointed out the train wreck that the Bush Tax Cuts were and they were dismissive of it, same with the 2008 Medicare disaster. It is like anything else - reality, facts, science runs counter to 99.9% of what they do, and as such has to be dismissed in some way.

(13,992 posts)You know how some state legislatures (North Carolina, I think) have banned any legislation based on scientific evidence of global climate change? That will be the House GOP in the next term -- no passing any legislation based on math.

(14,564 posts)passed some language to the effect that there can no longer be an emphasis on "critical thinking" or something along those lines. Someone posted that here a month or so ago.
