(5,204 posts)Because if Hillary gets the nomination, a scorched earth campaign against Bernie supporters will hurt her in the general election.
wyldwolf
(43,891 posts)... the Sanders supporters scorched earth campaign against Hillary and her supporters.
jfern
(5,204 posts)Because you posted one attacking all Bernie supporters. I guess you really don't want us to vote for your candidate if she gets the nomination.
wyldwolf
(43,891 posts)Because I posted one commenting on some of them. Money quote:
Next?

(8,760 posts)isn't supporting the all-powerful Hillary enough for you?
jfern
(5,204 posts)is clearly an attack on his supporters. How come no other candidate has garbage like this written about their supporters? Are Trump supporters all perfectly good people?
wyldwolf
(43,891 posts)But not all of them.
jfern
(5,204 posts)And extremely divisive, and not helpful to the general election regardless of who the nominee is. This shit has to stop.
Tell me you've posted this same sentiment in anti-Hillary threads.
jfern
(5,204 posts)It's pretty clear there's a coordinated attack on Bernie supporters, and we are not standing for it. I have never seen the supporters of a candidate attacked as much as this. And you do realize you need the support of Bernie supporters if Hillary gets the nomination? Scorched earth attacks come at a price.
wyldwolf
(43,891 posts)Do you go to anti-Hillary threads or anti-Hillary supporter threads and tell Bernie supporters 'this shit has to stop.'
Well, do you?
jfern
(5,204 posts)And criticizing Hillary on the issues is extremely different than threads like this.
wyldwolf
(43,891 posts)... or your kumbaya feelings are relatively new.
jfern
(5,204 posts)This thread shows you would rather lose with Hillary than win with Bernie. You don't even care bout the general election any more. You are willing to tear the party in two to prevent Bernie from winning.
wyldwolf
(43,891 posts)The question remains - have you gone full-on kumbaya in those threads?
jfern
(5,204 posts)This is pure destroy Bernie supporters, take them down by any means necessary, don't worry about whether they bother to show up for your candidate in the general. Karl Rove couldn't be happier.

(13,685 posts)You need a better reading list.
I think a lot of young white men are most concerned about getting drafted to go fight another gawd damn war for the 1%. In Bernie they see the chances of that happening to be almost nil.
They'd rather make Love, not war.

(3,431 posts)When I went to a Bernie party for the debates
there were 2 middle-aged guys, and 12 women!
Whoever wrote that article has not realized that
women are turning to Sanders and for good
reasons: His proposals for families.
Old Codger
(4,205 posts)That article needs to understand that they are in fact entitled to their own opinions but not their own facts.. it is called dogma, stating opinions as if they were facts..... very republicanism

(17,081 posts)Of despising outspoken progressives and criticism of pro-corporate 3rd way policy. The fact that he can whole-heartedly get behind Hillary ought to be a red flag to anyone who doesn't support that drection for the party.

(17,081 posts)You can tell a lot about a candidate by who is supporting them...
wyldwolf
(43,891 posts)ibegurpard
(17,081 posts)And your posting history is far from a winning endorsement for Clinton for anyone for anyone even remotely progressive.

(25,699 posts)You want to talk about angry white Bernie supporters. I suppose I count as one. So... talk. Tell me about myself, Wyldwolf. Tell me all about angry white men supporting Bernie. You want a "conversation"? here we are. You want me to listen? Here I am.
wyldwolf
(43,891 posts)I didn't write the article. You do understand how that works, right?

(5,204 posts)One saying that Bernie supporters are his biggest problem is a lot more divisive than saying Hillary once praised TPP or something.
wyldwolf
(43,891 posts)jfern
(5,204 posts)I mean there are easily more Hillary supporters who are crazy than Bernie supporters. Trump has Stormfront supporting him. But no, it's Bernie supporters that are bad.

(25,699 posts)So, seems that you thought it was worthy of discussion. Particularly the part about angry white Sanders supporters. So, let's talk about them. Explain angry white Bernie supporters, to an angry white Bernie supporter.

The Right wingnuts have been angry and insult the educated, ivory tower, elite, latte sippin', Volvo drivin', hippies, for 20+ yrs. Ignorance is not to be celebrated. Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son.

(179,870 posts)I am closer to Sanders than Clinton on that online quiz but I live in the real world and I do not believe that Sanders is viable. Also as the father of two daughters, I would like to see a female POTUS. According to a sanders supporter, this means that I am a bad parent. I am not likely to support Sanders in the primary process because there is no way that Sanders could win in a general election but posts like that post are not helping Sanders' cause
One, you're voting for a candidate, and not their supporters
Two, Sanders has a better favorable rating, and has been doing at least as well as Hillary in general election polls.
