Why don't you small-minded people understand? Romney has chosen to PLEAD THE FIFTH

instead of releasing his tax returns, on the grounds that the information contained within would tend to incriminate him.
(i.e., give opponents "ammunition" to use against him.)

Usually, Republican Presidents and Vice Presidents don't plead the fifth till after they're elected, so we should be thankful that Romney's getting this over with now. No one will ever be able to say we elected him expecting him to run an open, fair, and ethical government.

do they marry up?

Surely the IRS would be interested in his returns?
