I will not abandon any segment of American society

I will not abandon any segment of American society – whether you’re gay or black or Latino or poor or working class – just because it is politically expedient at a given time.

My favorite line in Bernie's speech. Bravo Bernie!

in general.

I've been reading his auto biography and studying democratic socialism and it's really rooted in the belief that everyone is inherently good and wants to work and be good.

it is when a government or society fails to meet those human needs that a person becomes desperate or corrupt.

to continually get Bernie and Hillary mixed up. They don't look or sound alike at all, although one has started trying to talk like the other. But don't worry about that, she'll stop that after the primary, for one reason or another.

Take a look at your candidate. In 2008 she didn't want us to have driver's licenses, she created chaos in Honduras and when Honduras refugees came to our country, she coldly said to send them back. Some of those children were killed.

She says she is for immigration reform, but who can believe anything that comes out of her mouth.

She is unprincipled and everything she does is politically calculated. Do I believe she will keep promises to Latinos? #HellNo.

a bipartisan immigration reform bill sponsored by McCain and Kennedy. Sanders said the reform bill would have allowed for low wage workers to enter the country who would "be competing against kids in this country who desperately need jobs"

Clinton did not say or suggest that “refugee children” should be sent “summarily back to death gangs.” In fact, she said the opposite.

"Clinton drew a distinction last year between migrants who crossed the border illegally for economic or family reasons and refugees whose lives would be in danger if they were deported. She favored returning migrant children to “responsible adults in their families” back in Central America. But she also said that she would not deport children who had “a legitimate claim for asylum” and “would face some terrible danger if they return.”

We have to send a clear message: Just because your child gets across the border, that doesn’t mean the child gets to stay.”

lucky that he's involved with the fight, there are few people in positions of power who would choose his path. Bernie's integrity, courage and humanity are remarkable.
