Poor Morning Joe is befuddled about Ben Carson's lead in the polls. He is dumbstruck and has no
idea what has happened to his repub party and is sort of defending . Quite interesting this morning.

1. Dumbfounded in a racist sense?
Joe loves the Tea Party until it gets in the way of the Republican entitled.

4. Thing is he's clearly NOT dumb. What he is...
Is a perfect example of outcome-based thinking. He decides on an answer and then interprets or ignore evidence as necessary to support the answer.
It's what the entire Republican party does all the time. It's how they manage to believe in supply-side economincs. Joe Scar doesn't want to admit that, of course, but in many ways, Carson is their perfect candidate since he exemplifies their basis of thought. Some Democrats do it too.... It's a plague on humanity. |

7. Carson is highly intelligent, but the GOP voters are dumb and he has to play to idiot base.
