OMG!!! Sarah Palin has to be the stupidest person in America!

Steelman came in THIRD, I believe, in the GOP primary.

And Palin thinks she could win as a 3rd party candidate! LOL

Sister Sarah may be on to something here.................Steelman would, presumably, split the vote with Akin, making McCaskill's path to victory even easier, right? Akin is already in a dead heat with Claire as it is right now from what I saw. Get Steelman in there and Akin and her will have to fight over the table scraps.

that doesn't mean that Sister Sarah might stoke her ego enough to jump in. The only potential downside is that she might draw Republican/Super-PAC funding that has been withdrawn from Akin and that might make her more competitive. After all, Murkowski was able to pull it off in Alaska. Still, she would still find herself in a tug-of-war with Akin for votes.

Palin endorsed Steelman and also campaigned for her.

I think Palin just doesn't like the fact that her pick didn't win the primary

There's the option of a write-in campaign, I guess. That could go well ...

Otherwise, Joe Lieberman would have been drummed out in 2006, because CT doesn't have a sore loser law.

But it doesn't matter because July 30th was the deadline for independents and third parties to file for the Senate.
