has ever quoted anyone connected with The Third Way. I can't remember a single instance. But, then, I have no idea who is part of that organization. I suppose it has a web site, but I can't imagine why I'd go there.

Really, the only people I see mentioning The Third Way are Bernie Sanders supporters. Odd.

ETA: Well, I actually went to the website and looked up who was part of the leadership. I didn't recognize a single name there, nor have I ever heard of any of them. Want to see for yourself?

No wonder nobody refers to anything said by this group. Who cares?

Not exactly a great representation for a party that claims to be diverse.

You know, that saying, a rising tide raises all boats? If there is a lesson to be learned from the nineties economic expansion and swift collapse, it is that the rising tide is only the start of what eventually becomes a devastating Tsunami.

"...Daily Kos will NOT ENABLE those who enable THIRD WAY..."

With Reps. Allyson Schwarz and Ron Kind speaking out against that nutso Third Way Wall Street Journal op-ed, it's clear that even the organization's "co-chairs" aren't happy with the explicit stating of their agenda. They apparently prefer Third Way keep operating in secret, with their Social Security-cutting agenda off the front pages. But neither will quit the organization. For Schwartz, running in what will be a crowded Democratic gubernatorial primary in Pennsylvania, that's awesome. It'll make for a fun primary. It's not every day we get to electorally beat up on a Third Way stooge. For Kind, well, he's always been obnoxious, so the fact he said anything at all is surprising. Again, I think they're pissed having to defend being part of a corporatist Wall Street front group determined to destroy Social Security.

So who else is enabling Third Way's destructive agenda? Why, let's name names!

House members

James Clyburn (Southern South Carolina)
John Dingell (Ann Arbor, Detroit's western suburbs, Michigan)
Ron Kind (Southwestern Wisconsin, La Crosse, Eau Claire)
Joseph Crowley (NYC, Bronx, Queens)
Allyson Schwartz (Northeast Philly, eastern Montgomery County, Pennsylvania)
Jared Polis (Boulder, Colorado)

Senators

Thomas Carper (Delaware)
Claire McCaskill (Missouri)
Mark Udall (Colorado)
Jeanne Shaheen (New Hampshire)
Kay Hagan (North Carolina)
Chris Coons (Delaware)

When considering candidate endorsements and whether we engage in a race (primary or general), we've long considered membership (or potential membership) in the Blue Dog Caucus. As of today, we're adding Third Way to our exclusionary list on our candidate questionnaire. These electeds undoubtedly appreciate the open spigot to Wall Street campaign cash. Our job is to make sure they pay a price for their cozy arrangement.

His campaign is flailing, while Hillary soars in the polls. This thing is over before it even started.

...new, young, old or previously disinterested voters he's attracted with his message that speaks to so many of us. He's running a strong and positive message based campaign. If he were flailing, I don't think this many people would pack in halls and theaters in such large numbers.

I don't doubt that Sanders has a core group of enthusiastic supporters, but in the last few weeks his momentum has absolutely stalled. Hillary is an incredibly dominant position in this race, and Sanders either is or has already run out of time.

There's that religious fundie "hater" nomenclature again. I don't even know her, much less hate her. Hillary cultists are so over the top.

She lost the primary the last time and so I sure haven't thought much about her presidential aspirations at all for 8 long years.

...are just based on the politics and the horse race of it all. It's not about substance. That's ok though. I don't think Bernie has lost any support whatsoever despite all the latest polls. I'm pretty sure it's as strong as ever and he may have even gained more support.

Most Americans, and especially most Democrats want to rein in the influence of Wall Street. It is a centrist position. It is certainly a position voters will support.

THAT is how I know for sure that Bernie is the right choice.
