it's a small community. Maybe he knew the guy. Maybe he had the time and money. Not at all out of the question.

I would note that Google finds at least 3 shoe stores on Church Street in Burlington, more if you count places that sell shoes/boots in a mall that seems to face onto Church Street. So either his buddy was straight up at least that far, or, if it is a fake, the guy did at least know where to find boots in Burlington.

Whether or not Sanders bought the guy shoes, what I know for a fact is Sanders wants to see the guy have access to healthcare as a right, to tuition free college to gain some skills, and in one of the millions of jobs that have left this country or been lost for whatever reason.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
