The thing I do not like about SNL is how they have embraced false equivalency. Enthusiast Nov 2015 #18

It was negative and biased against what I believed was a pretty good outing of our candidates. The whole tone of the show was rather right-wing, and I'm not even talking about Trump.

You used to be able to watch and depend on it being equal, even a little honest, or what they call liberal. No more, as SNL has become pretty right-wing, as it was last night.

It was a light hearted pricking of the bubble that grows up around any presidential candidate. We all get swept up in these campaigns and our chosen candidates. It doesn't do anyone any harm to have them (and by extension us) laughed at once in a while.

How would it be funny if they just re-enacted the forum.

remembering the blundering crybaby Bush skits they were doing up to that day. Afterwords, going center right and lack of talent pretty much ruined it for me.

And the evil Hillary was spot on. Bernie was funny! And as for the O'Malley interlude,

The Rachel Maddow impression was even funnier!

Although this is a cute skit SNL no longer really takes on the true issues.
