Hillary Clinton rolls out plan to reform VA.

Derry, New Hampshire (CNN)Hillary Clinton on Tuesday rolled out her plan to address issues within the Department of Veterans Affairs, pledging in New Hampshire to "modernize" the struggling agency and "overhaul" its governance.

Speaking at a roundtable, Clinton said the current iteration of the VA is "failing to keep faith with our veterans" and promised, as president, that she would institute and top to bottom review of the maligned agency.

"These problems are serious, systemic and unacceptable," Clinton said. "They need to be fixed, they need to be fixed now."

Clinton's proposals take on an agency that an internal inspector general report found in 2014 was gripped by "systemic" issues with scheduling that caused some veterans to die while waiting for treatment. The scandal led to the resignation of then-VA secretary Eric Shinseki.

A response to a direct attack, to prevent genocide, to prevent genocide, and a response to a direct attack.

Hillary voted for blood for oil. Big fucking difference Janey. If you can't see that then you are beyond hope.

An ineffective fighting strategy doesn't negate the reason why a war was started. Afghanistan was in response to September 11th. Iraq was in response to Cheney's lust for oil and Dubya wanting to finish his dad's war.

Clinton creates veterans by sending them off to an unnecessary war which has eventually created an entity called "ISIL".

right-wing "patriots" insisted on while our "brave soldiers" were in need? And combine some of that funding with reorganization to take proper care of them?

That's a program I'd be glad get behind, even if too late for our grandson's godfather, a career combat master sergeant who died after four years of battling a superinfection introduced during a botched operation on a combat wound.

rid of the Political spoils system, nothing will change. The VA is the dumping ground for friends and relatives of the Politicians. Our Doctor friend who works at the VA,laughs at how they clean house of bad department managers. Promote them to a different Hospital pay their moving expenses and give them a new title. Until the Inspector General's hands are totally untied, nothing changes. The VA without a doubt provides top of the line health care. And the public is best served with the model we have.
