I'd like to hear from all the Hillary supporters
who will be switching to Bernie when the primary voting starts.
Hillary is above 50% and Bernie is around 30%. That leaves under 20% undecided. If they all break for Bernie (not likely) then some Hillary folks would have to switch to Bernie for him to win the nomination. We are reading that 2015 is 2007 again and Bernie is Obama so who are you Hillary now Bernie later people?

15. Yep
We loooovvvvveeee being called " Lilly white, latte drinking trailer trash" or "Bernie supporters, dumb as a brick and twice as thick" and berniebots and a dozen other comments as bad or worse. While all of It is wrong, no matter who says it, at least (as far as I know, I have zero first hand knowledge of name calling because I don't do that) Bernie supporters do it here on DU, don't slither off to another site and belittle and trash Bernie supporters and then come back here to DU acting as if they are captain of the SS Moral Authority.
You personally may or may not have done that, I don't know and could care less, just keep in mind that old adage: "when pissing into the wind, everyone gets a little on them" |

19. For the context and clarity
Your comment was about name calling and a continuation of the "Bernie supporters hate America" meme, as if you and supporters of your candidate are just victims of those mean Bernie supporters. My post was only to point out that some of the more mean-spirited and crass things I have ever seen a Dem say about another Dem were in those screenshots and clips from that other site, things they would never say here on DU as they would likely get tombstones.
While there may have been bad things said by Bernie supporters on this site, if they violated the rules, they paid the price. They didn't go off to another site, say horrible, crass things, then come back here to DU and pretend to be innocent and good. The funny thing was, I was really starting to lean toward your candidate's supporters in this whole name calling debate until I started seeing the screenshots and clips from comments made on that other site and realized that nothing could justify talking about people that way. |

28. Remember this?
First, from your above post:
" I know, I have zero first hand knowledge of name calling because I don't do that) Bernie supporters do it here on DU, don't slither off to another site and belittle and trash Bernie supporters and then come back here to DU acting as if they are captain of the SS Moral Authority. " Then here from another thread http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251838762" angrychair wrote: "While doing all these things, YOU GO TO ANOTHER SITE, that many of us have seen entries and screenshots from at this point, calling us "latte drinking white trash" and "trailer trash" and saying "Bernie supporters are dumb as bricks and twice as thick" and terms like "hippy punching", "berniebot" and "berniebro" whatever the hell that is, every description is vile and disrespectful. "While I am sure that some Sanders supporters here have done or said things that was rude and crass, based on what I have seen from that site, those failings are nothing in comparison. At the very least you have no right or reason to the high ground and or the attitude you carry with you on this site and should well be ashamed of your conduct (sorry, the "Bernie bros" or whatever smear you try to use, started it is a child's reason, not an adult's reason)." In the post you responded to, l used the term "Bernie's supporters". Yet you accused me of using derogatory labels on a site I have nothing to do with, and I certainly did not post a link to it. I don't even know what the fuck site you are going on about! I am an exclusive DU poster. Of course you never responded when I called you on it, but then, what could you have written to justify the false accusation? Bottom line? You have little room to talk about "Moral Authority". I will never be ashamed of my conduct here on Democratic Underground. Here is my original post you responded to: "Once again, Bernie's supporters announce to the world that they believe the majority of the American democratic population is stupid, and they are just "lumps of Play-Doh". After all, she is leading by wide margins which would indicate Bernie's supporters believe they are so stupid, they "get their ideas about politics from politicians". It's the only conclusion one can arrive at concerning the above statement, and whether the statement is true, partly true, or just more horseshit, this tactic isn't winning Bernie or his supporters any fans." ![]() |

5. Not switching to Bernie.
It would take a BIG SCANDAL (or if she died in her sleep, heaven forbid) before I'd switch my vote. And even then, my primary vote would go to Martin O'Malley ... NOT Bernie.

6. Clinton currently heads my talley sheet of policy positions and election factors by a considerable
margin. That is why I finally decided to support her.
I continue to learn about the candidates, and if her place on my score sheet changes before June 19, 2016, then I would change my vote. I finally decided support her because nobody is even close and I tended to take her sides in most discussions. But she doesn't own my vote until it is cast. Now, I fully expect she will have won the nomination by the end of March, early April at the latest. As a California resident, my choice would simply be a coronation. |

![]() ABOVE ALL, WE HAVE TO ELECT A DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENT. In addition to battling fascism and stopping the transfer of power and wealth from We the People to the top 0.01%, the next president will probably name at least 2 and as many as 4 SUPREME COURT JUSTICES. |

I think Nate Silver addresses your question in this article: http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/dear-media-stop-freaking-out-about-donald-trumps-polls/ "When you see an Iowa poll, you should keep in mind that the real situation looks something more like this:" (I'll ballpark roughly covert his poll from GOP to Dem): Undecided 80% (includes leans) Clinton 12% Sanders 7% O'Malley 1% It's a little early for "Hillary can't lose" |

Hillary definitely has the advantage with that big lead and therefore a much better chance but there's 70 days to go and that's a long time in Politics. Ask David Vitter.
